G. BUSY ---- BLUES ENTERTAINER
I picked up my first harmonica when I was about 14 years old. One night lying on my folk’s bed watching Don Kirshner’s In Concert. He was showing 1974’s Montreaux Jazz Festival and I was digging watching Muddy Waters and Buddy Guy with the Stone’s rhythm section.
Playing harmonica and entertaining was Jr. Wells. I was familiar with the other players, but that was the first time I really noticed a blues harmonica. Junior was the cat, he blew me away. Jr. Wells then became my major influence. I knew then, I wanted to play the blues harp. I went out the next day and bought my first Mississippi saxophone.
A few years later I finally got the nerve to play in front of people. I was in New York on Long Island, east of the Hampton’s, in a little juke called, Fisherman’s Quarters. I had a D harp with me and asked if I could set in on “Further On Up The Road.” They let me get up and I got hooked on performing live.
Today, I like to consider myself a blues entertainer, that happens to play the harmonica.
BIO
G. Busy has performed regionally in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee. Has made national appearances in Michigan, New York, and Georgia. Busy has also played internationally in Winnipeg, Canada, Nagoya, Japan, Jakarta, Indonesia, Kandy, Sri Lanka and Qingdao, China.

Hello blues fans, well the studio time has been both fun and challenging....
but I'm jonesing to play. I'll continue to work on the new release but in the meantime,
come out and here some of it live.
